Meet the Speakers:
Gonzalo Caro
Associate DPO, Meta
Gonzalo Caro is an Associate Data Protection Officer (DPO) at Meta Platforms Ireland, having joined the company in 2018. Prior to joining Meta, Gonzalo worked at Microsoft for 17 years. His professional journey commenced in enterprise operations, moving onto governance, risk management and compliance roles over the years and, working full-time on data protection roles for the past decade. His main areas of interest include governance and accountability frameworks, operationalising risk methodologies and regulatory engagement, currently leading the latter for the EU DPO at Meta.
Michelle Burke
Group DPO, AIB
Michelle is currently Data Protection Officer for AIB who has a passion for securing good customer outcomes through compliance. She leads a Team of 12 Data Protection specialists whose purpose is to ensure the requirements of the GDPR are met via the provision of advice and guidance, review and challenge to AIB Group including AIB, EBS, Haven and Goodbody’s.
Richard Greene
DPO, Autodesk
Richard is a qualified barrister and is Autodesk’s legal lead for the EMEA privacy compliance domain. He manages customer privacy terms, onward data transfer and supports Autodesk’s Global Trust Program which includes privacy, trusted AI, and security. Richard was appointed DPO for Autodesk in April 2024 and works closely with the Trust organisation within Autodesk on data protection, and trusted AI initiatives.
Emer O'Hora
Head of Legal, Johnson Hana
Emer O’Hora is Head of Legal with Johnson Hana. A qualified solicitor, Emer began her career in a traditional law firm, spending seven years in practice before moving in-house to AIB where she became the Head of Data Protection. From there, Emer transitioned into the pharma industry, serving as Global DPO for Irish-listed pharma giant ICON. Most recently, she spent four years as Head of Legal and Company Secretary with scaling tech firm NewsWhip.
